Fallen Lands

The Loot Ladder

Every blade in the realm was pried from a dungeon.

There is no crafting bench, no gacha pull, no shortcut. Progression gear derives from dungeons — and the deeper the chain you clear, the higher the tier that falls. Above the ladder sit the exotics: named, boss-only chase drops that never come easy, and never come twice as a gift.

How gear scales

From shop steel to boss-forged exotics

Gear climbs in tiers that track a dungeon's danger rating. Clear tougher chains, get better base rolls — no exceptions, no pay-to-skip.

T0The Nexus shop & the open worldFledgling steel. Your first loadout, bought with gold — enough to survive the shallow gates, not the deep ones.
T1–T2Band I dungeons — the early chainThe first real upgrades. Serpent pits, beaches, sprite groves: where you learn the bullet patterns.
T3–T4Band II dungeonsMid-ladder gear. Rolls start to matter; a good drop here carries you two bands further than it should.
T5–T6Band III dungeonsEndgame-adjacent. The gear that lets you stand in the deep gates without melting on the first phase.
T7–T8Band IV — the six arc capstonesThe ceiling of the ladder. Every capstone boss guards a full set worth farming for its own sake.
UTBoss-only — and only that bossUntradeable exotics: named weapons, abilities and armor with unique effects, plus the Sealed Draughts that finish an 8/8 build. Above the ladder, not on it.

The chase

The exotics — earned off the corpse

Exotics are the whole reason to dive twice. Each one is a named drop tied to a single boss — kill the thing, or never hold it. They carry effects the shop ladder never will.

A strip of exotic (UT) gear icons
A handful of the named exotics — UT gear pulled straight off boss corpses.

Chase drops

Named weapons, abilities and armor with stat bonuses and bespoke behaviour. They do not stock the shop. They do not trade in as pity. You earn them off the corpse or not at all.

Sealed Draughts

The last 15% of any stat accepts only Sealed Draughts, and those fall from the six arc capstones alone. The chase back-loads into the hardest content on purpose.

The pity path

No zero-drop runs. A per-dungeon pity counter guarantees the white bag eventually — the grind is long, but it is never empty. The Vaultstar keeps count.

The full codex, split by slot. A UT marks a named exotic; everything else in gold drops from the dungeon listed. Plain entries stock the Nexus shop or turn up in the open world.
