Smaller cousins of the Abyss brood, Vent Imps squeeze up through the fire-cracks that Kaurax's tunneling opened beneath Harrowgate. Each claims a smoking vent as its post and defends it like a soldier's watch, for the Ash-Archon's siege was never called off and the imps have never once been relieved. They bite first, gloat second, and scurry back into the heat to report a victory no one is listening for.
