Thistleback Boar

The Greylimn Marches were pig country before the rot came up through the wells. The boars that drank soured water grew briar where bristle had been, and turned from foraging to fury. A thistleback will charge a mounted rider over a windfall apple, and farmers reclaiming the Marches count them, grimly, as the land's first crop: proof that something out there still fights to live.
