A knight the coast drowned and would not keep. He rode out against the Hordes when the sea-walls broke, went under in full harness, and surfaced a tide later with his sword returned to him — rejected, some say, by Ysmr himself as too proud to file among the quiet dead. Now he patrols the shallows demanding fealty of anything that wades. Kneel, or wade. Salt in the wound; salt in the crown.
