When Vael Anore drowned, its knights went down at their posts, and Ysmr — who lets nothing the water takes be wasted — kept them. The Sunken Knight patrols the flooded streets in armor grown coral-heavy, saluting the shapes of towers that no longer break the surface. It fights the Fordsworn dutifully and without malice; the Tidewarden holds its oath now, along with everything else.
