On the Revelwrack Shore, the survivors' wake spins on as a festival that dares not stop — for the first dancer to stand still hears Ysmr's bell. The revel-sirens are the wake's own daughters, drowned dancers sent back up to keep the music fed. They take a mourner by both hands, laughing, and dance them down the tideline until the water takes the lead.
