Varokhaz taught his Hordes one theology: anything worshipped can be harvested. The God-Reavers were his tithe-takers, sent ahead of the burnings to cut down shrine and congregation together and carry the holiness off like sheaves. Four crowns' worth of altars went into their blades. They still walk the fallen lands reaping, though their King is broken and the granary long gone.
