Ludd Grimtide, the Locker-Lord, keeps every drowned soul catalogued in his sunken hoard. This shroud he wound about a favoured corpse and sealed with salt, that it might never rot and never rest. It clings to the living now, cold and patient, waiting to be reclaimed below.
