In the Sporelit Deep, Malgareth's blight learned that a body is only a delay between plantings. A Spore Cluster is what remains once the lesson takes: a fist of fruiting grief that rolls toward warmth and bursts with something like gratitude. The Grey Mendicants burn them at a distance. The spores, they note, always drift toward whoever is mourning loudest.
