When the stars fell through the Sundered Rift, they broke on the way down, and the pieces did not stop shining. Shardwisps drift the Starless Bower and the Shattered Reach like embers of a burnt-out heaven — splinters of fallen starlight still trying to deliver their light somewhere. They gather around anything that glows, and they burn like grief when touched, for they remember being part of something whole.
