Ludd Grimtide stows every wreck the sea takes, crews included, and a stowed crew must be guarded. The Saltdead Sentries of the Salt-Drowned Locker are drowned sailors cured stiff in brine, posted at attention among the racked hulls of ships they once served. They keep their old watch-rotations faithfully. No sentry has ever asked what, exactly, they are keeping the Locker safe from.
