Ember Sprite

THE EMBERFORGE HOLLOW

Sparks that leapt from the Emberforge Hollow's vault-fires and never came down. Each ember sprite is a mote of the forge's purpose with nothing left to temper — they hurl themselves at intruders the way they once leapt onto cooling steel. The stokers sweep them into buckets and pour them back into the furnaces; the sprites always climb out again, still burning for work.
