In the Emberforge Hollow the smiths' oath was to never let the forge-fires die, and the fires took the oath literally. An Ember-Grasp is a hand that kept working after the rest of its smith burned away — still reaching for the next billet, the next bellows-pull, the next intruder. It grips as a craftsman grips: firmly, without malice, until the work is done.
