Vessarith's Sworn Eye

Vessarith was sworn to guard the pit's petrified dead, and the oath calcified her sight until every glance turned flesh to salt-stone. This is her severed eye, set in a band. It still watches, and all it watches learns the terrible stillness of the guarded.
