Where the Thrice-Crowned Dead sleep beneath the Tomb of the Fallen Crowns, the honor guard of four burned kingdoms still stands its post — flesh long since bartered away, oath intact. Each guardian holds one door and holds it forever, past the point where guarding became indistinguishable from grieving. They do not challenge intruders. They simply refuse, in stone and silence, to let the shame be looked at.
