THE SUNDERED RIFT

The night the stars fell through the sky, something on the far side noticed the hole. The rift wardens are Astaroth's answer to trespass — geometry given sentry duty, patrolling the Sundered Rift's broken edges where up and down forget their offices. The Grey Mendicants believe they are not guarding the wound against Kierstein, but guarding what waits inside it until it is ready.
